@indo342, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding Connecting Your HP Printer to Wi-Fi!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

I can certainly help you with setting up your internet on your HP printer. Here’s a simple guide:

Connecting Your HP Printer to Wi-Fi

Prepare your router and printer:

  • Ensure your printer is powered on and within range of your Wi-Fi network.
  • Make sure you know your Wi-Fi network name and the password.

Access the Printer Control Panel:

  • On the printer control panel, touch the Wireless icon.
  • Go to Settings and select Network Setup or Wireless Settings.

Connect to your network:

  • Select Wireless Setup Wizard from the menu.
  • It will search for available networks. Select your Wi-Fi network from the list.
  • Enter your Wi-Fi password when prompted.

Confirmation:

  • Once connected, your printer should display a confirmation message. You can also print a network configuration page to confirm that the printer has a valid IP address.

Troubleshooting Tips

  • Ensure there are no obstacles: Make sure there is no large obstruction between your printer and the Wi-Fi router.
  • Close proximity: For the first time setup, it helps if your printer is close to your Wi-Fi router.
  • Start fresh: If necessary, restart your printer and try the setup process again.

Hope this helps!

Take care, and have an amazing day!
