Hi @Vulcanator,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd be glad to help you!

Printing envelopes on your HP 2800e from Hallmark Studio is fairly straightforward, but you’ll need to ensure that both your printer and Hallmark Studio are set up correctly for envelope printing. Here’s how to do it:

Steps to Print Envelopes on HP 2800e from Hallmark Studio:

Prepare the Envelopes:

  • Make sure the envelopes are properly loaded into your HP 2800e printer’s input tray.
  • Check the printer's manual for instructions on how to load envelopes (typically with the short edge leading into the printer).

Open Hallmark Studio:

  • Open Hallmark Studio on your computer and go to the Envelope Printing section or template that you want to print.

Select the Envelope Template:

  • Choose the correct envelope size (e.g., 4x6, A7, etc.) in Hallmark Studio.
  • If your envelope size is not listed, you can manually set the dimensions by going to the Page Setup options in Hallmark Studio.

Select the Printer:

  • In Hallmark Studio, when you're ready to print, select your HP 2800e printer from the printer options.
  • Click on Print and wait for the print settings window to appear.

Set Print Settings:

  • In the print settings window, make sure the paper size matches the envelope size you've chosen in Hallmark Studio.
  • Choose Landscape or Portrait orientation based on how you want to print your envelope.
  • Under the Media Type section (or equivalent), select the appropriate envelope setting if available. If not, choose a paper type like Heavyweight or Plain Paper that is suited for printing on envelopes.

Ensure Proper Feed Direction:

  • If you have an HP 2800e printer with a rear paper feed (manual feed), ensure the envelopes are inserted correctly. The printing side of the envelope should face up or down, depending on your printer model.

Print the Envelope:

  • After ensuring all the settings are correct, click Print in Hallmark Studio.
  • The printer should start printing the envelope as per the design you've selected.

Tips:

Check the Printer's Paper Handling Settings:
Before printing, double-check your HP 2800e printer's paper handling settings to ensure it’s set up to handle envelopes.

Test Print:
It’s a good idea to do a test print on regular paper first to ensure that the text and layout are positioned correctly.

Driver Updates:
Ensure that your printer drivers are up to date, as outdated drivers can cause printing issues.
