Hi @SD0820,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Officejet 4630 e-All-in-One printer is not powering on when plugged into an electrical outlet, there could be a few reasons for this issue. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem.

Check the Power Source:

  • Make sure the power outlet you're using is functional. Plug in another device to confirm that the outlet is providing power.

Power Cable and Adapter:

  • Ensure that the power cable is securely connected to both the printer and the power adapter.
  • Check for any damage or fraying on the power cable. If it's damaged, you may need to replace it.
  • Verify that the power adapter is the correct one for your printer and that it's functioning properly.

Power Button:

  • Ensure you are pressing the power button on the printer correctly. Sometimes it may require a long press to power on.

Reset the Printer:

  • Unplug the power cable from both the printer and the power outlet.
  • Wait for about 30 seconds to a minute.
  • Plug the power cable back in and try turning on the printer.

Check for External Factors:

  • Sometimes, power issues can be caused by external factors such as power surges. Consider using a surge protector or plugging the printer into a different outlet.

Inspect for Visible Damage:

  • Carefully inspect the printer for any visible physical damage or loose connections.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
