Hi @CHIPM777

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

Thanks for explaining your setup. Since you’ve got two Spectrum networks (north and south) and the printer only refuses to connect to the southern one, I want to narrow down a few details before diving into steps:

  • Which printer model are you using? (HP, Canon, Epson, etc., and the exact series helps a lot.)
  • Do you know if the southern Spectrum router broadcasts both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands? Some printers only connect to 2.4 GHz.
  • When you try to connect, do you see the southern Wi‑Fi network listed on the printer’s control panel, or does it fail to detect it entirely?
  • Are you entering the Wi‑Fi password manually on the printer, or using WPS (push‑button setup)?
  • Any error message or code that appears when the connection fails?

These details will help me pinpoint whether it’s a compatibility issue, a router setting, or something specific to the printer’s wireless card. Could you share those?

We're looking forward to helping you get back up and running!

Regards,

Hawks_Eye
