Hi @prasad55,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding printing in bold issues!

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.

Try these steps:

Update Printer Drivers:

  • Ensure you have the latest drivers for your printer. Visit the HP Support website to download and install the latest drivers compatible with Windows 11.

Check Document Settings:

  • Confirm that the bold setting is correctly applied in your document. Sometimes, copying and pasting text can affect formatting. Reapply bold formatting directly to ensure it is set as intended.

Print Quality Settings:

  • Access the printer properties and check the print quality settings. Choose "Best" or "Quality" to make sure the printer uses sufficient toner to differentiate bold fonts.

Printer Preferences:

  • In your printer preferences, ensure that options like "Print all text as black" or "EconoMode" are not enabled, as these could affect how bold text is printed.

Test with a Different Document:

  • Create a new document with bold text and attempt to print it. This will help determine if the issue is document-specific or broader.

Check Font Substitution:

  • Verify if the printer is substituting fonts. Access the printer driver settings to ensure that font substitution for bold characters is not occurring.

Reinstall Printer:

  • Uninstall the printer and reinstall it to reset any changed settings. Sometimes, this can resolve weird configurations or bugs.

I hope this helps.
