@Christa1989, Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your HP printer. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:

Restart the Printer: Turn off your printer, unplug it from the power source, and wait for about 60 seconds. Then, plug it back in and turn it on.

Check Printer Settings: Ensure your printer is set as the default printer and that printing is not paused.

Reset the Printer: With the printer turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the printer and unplug it from the wall outlet. Wait for at least 60 seconds, then plug it back in and reconnect the power cord.

Reinstall Printer Drivers: Sometimes, reinstalling the printer drivers can help. You can do this through the HP Printer Assistant or your computer's settings.

Check for Multiple Printer Queues: If you see multiple printer queues for the same printer, remove all extra printers and leave only one 'idle' printer in the list.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
