HP OfficeJet 5230 All-in-One Printer

I moved house and got a new internet provider with V Media. Printer hasn't worked since the move. Is this because its 5 broadwidth - as I can't change it as VM said it will affect my other devices.  Do I bin the printer? Its so difficult to get someone on the phone or a definitive answer - please help

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

To get the answer to this question, the HP printers only support 2.4GHz. However, you can use HP wifi direct method to connect and print.
Refer to the article HP printer setup (Wi-Fi Direct): https://support.hp.com/nz-en/document/ish_1841315-1637332-16 By the end of the article you will be able to print.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
