I understand your HP Printer 2855e is showing an offline status or is unavailable. There are several steps you can take to troubleshoot and resolve the issue:
 

Restart Devices

  1. Restart your computer or mobile device and the printer to clear any error states.
     
  2. If you are using a network printer, restart the router.
     
  3. Ensure your computer or device is connected to the same network as the printer.

Check Printer and Network Connections

Wi-Fi Connection:
 

  • Move the printer within 8 meters (26 feet) of the router or range extender.
     
  • Ensure the Wireless light is solid blue. If it's off or blinking, the printer is not connected. HP printer setup (Wi-Fi network).

Wired Network:
 

  • Disconnect and inspect the Ethernet cable. Use a different LAN port if necessary.
     
  • Ensure the green light on the Ethernet port is steady, and the orange activity light is blinking.

USB Connection:
 

  • Ensure the USB cable is undamaged and not longer than 3 meters (9 feet 10 inches).
     
  • Connect directly to a USB port on the computer without using a USB hub.

Update Printer Firmware

Regularly update the printer firmware to benefit from enhancements and fixes:
