After moving to a new home I couldn't get my printer, an HP Envy Photosmart 7855 to connect to my computer. Foolishly I uninstalled the printer and thought I would start from scratch and reinstall. But....
I am out of warranty and can't talk to anyone, even though I am willing to pay for tech support.
My bluetooth smart on printer won't turn on

@katkat50, Welcome to the HP Support Community! I’m here to help.
I understand you are trying to connect the printer to your Mac. To assist you better, do you get any errors while trying to install/connect? Let us try these steps:
On the printer screen, go to Setup > Network Setup > Restore network settings
Go back to Network > Wireless > Wireless setup wizard and select your network.
- Make sure the printer and the Mac are connected to the same wireless network. Either 2.4 or 5GHz network.
- If you have a Dual-band router and both 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks share the same name/SSID, the printer will not be able to connect to the network. In this case, contact your Internet service provider to assign different names to both networks.
- Also, check with your Internet service provider if your router is able to forward 'Bonjour packets'.
Bonjour locates devices such as printers, other computers, and the services that those devices offer on a local network using multicast Domain Name System (mDNS) service records. The software comes built-in with Apple's macOS and iOS operating systems.
Update the printer firmware
