Printer will not connect to wifi , will not print, keeps saying error.  this has been getting harder and harder to connect and not will not do it at all.

  • Check Wi-Fi Settings: Ensure that your printer is within range of your Wi-Fi network and that the network is functioning properly. You may also want to double-check the Wi-Fi password you're entering to connect the printer.
  • Update Firmware: Visit the HP website and check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Updating the firmware can sometimes fix connectivity issues.
  • Reset Network Settings: On the printer, navigate to the network settings menu and perform a network reset. This will clear any existing network configurations and allow you to set up the connection again from scratch.
  • Use HP Smart App: Consider using the HP Smart app to set up the printer instead of traditional methods. This app is designed to simplify the setup process and troubleshoot common issues.
  • Check for Interference: Ensure that there are no physical barriers or electronic devices interfering with the Wi-Fi signal between your printer and router.
