Hi @Kip65,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
When a printer is having trouble connecting to Wi-Fi and consistently shows errors, it can be frustrating. Here's a step-by-step troubleshooting guide that might help.
- Restart Everything: Begin by restarting your printer, router, and computer. Sometimes, a simple reboot can resolve connectivity issues.
- Check Wi-Fi Settings: Ensure that your printer is within range of your Wi-Fi network and that the network is functioning properly. You may also want to double-check the Wi-Fi password you're entering to connect the printer.
- Update Firmware: Visit the HP website and check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer. Updating the firmware can sometimes fix connectivity issues.
- Reset Network Settings: On the printer, navigate to the network settings menu and perform a network reset. This will clear any existing network configurations and allow you to set up the connection again from scratch.
- Use HP Smart App: Consider using the HP Smart app to set up the printer instead of traditional methods. This app is designed to simplify the setup process and troubleshoot common issues.
- Check for Interference: Ensure that there are no physical barriers or electronic devices interfering with the Wi-Fi signal between your printer and router.
- Assign Static IP Address: Assigning a static IP address to your printer can sometimes improve connectivity stability, as it prevents the router from assigning a new IP address each time the printer reconnects.
By following these steps, you should hopefully be able to resolve the connectivity issues with your HP DeskJet 2752e printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
