Common problems for Connectivity Issues

Printer will not connect to my home WiFi..HELP  !!

Hi @jimeedeez, Welcome to HP Support Community. 
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you. 
Here are some steps to troubleshoot and fix the WiFi connection issue with your HP OfficeJet Pro 8610:

Restart Everything

  • Power off the printer, router, and computer.
  • Wait 1-2 minutes and turn them back on.

Check WiFi Signal & Network

  • Ensure your WiFi is working properly.
  • The printer should be close to the router (within 6-8 feet for best connectivity).
  • Make sure the router is not using 5GHz—this printer only supports 2.4GHz networks.

Reconnect the Printer to WiFi

  • On the printer's touchscreen, go to:
    Setup (⚙️) > Network > Wireless Setup Wizard
  • Select your WiFi network and enter the correct password.

Restore network settings:

1. From the printer control panel, touch and slide your finger across the screen, touch Setup, and then touch Network Setup. 

2. Touch Restore Network Defaults, and then touch Yes. A message appears stating that the network defaults have been restored. 

3. Touch OK. 

4. Print the network configuration page and verify that the network settings have been reset.

Use the HP Smart app: Download and install the HP Smart app on your computer or mobile device. This app can help you connect your printer to the network.
