Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

Pasted images into Microsoft word 2007 document (from snipping tool).  Monitor Display of word is normal.   Printout is enlarged   Printout is cropped  on right and bottom.

Had worked many times before.    This same word document works OK on my laptop has   Windows 7  and Microsoft word 2007.    The thing I suspect is different is the printer driver interface.

Is there a way to attach the word file to send to you?

Welcome to the HP User Community.

The easiest option to work around wrongly sized, cropped, or incorrectly defined images in your document:

Export the document to PDF and print that.

What else?

Cut / Copy / Paste does not control the size of the content.

To add images to your Word document, use Insert

Where to find information

There are many, many articles on the web to help describe the Insert methodology.

Use your favorite search engine and search (for example) for "Word Insert picture" or "Word Insert image"

=================================================

General Discussion / Examples

Always use Insert as opposed to copy/paste to add images to your Word documents.

After the image is inserted into the document, Right-Click on the image and select Size and Position

Adjust as needed.

=================================================

More Ideas...

"Fix the image" as it appears in your Word Document

If you do not already have a copy of the image file, create a file from the image in your Word document.

Open your Word document

Right-Click on the Image

Use "Save-As" and save the image as a .jpg file on your computer.

Pay attention to the folder in which you save the file...

Use Insert > Pictures and insert the image file into your Word document.

Right-Click on the image (after it is placed in the document)

Adjust the Size and Position to move the image inside the document boundaries.

=================================================

Image in a Text Box

If all else fails and the image won't "stick",

Try / Consider

Insert Text box

Then Insert your image inside the box

Use Insert (as opposed to copy / paste) when placing images into a document

If images will not stay contained in spite of margins:

Insert a Text box of the size necessary to contain the image

Remove the "default text" bits from the box

Insert the Image inside the empty text box

Example

Chicken_in_Text_Box_1Chicken_in_Text_Box_1
