HP ENVY 6055e All-in-One Printer

My HP Envy 6055e went offline & I need to reconnect. I didn't change routers or any other hardware. I tried a few things online but nothing worked. How do I reconnect to network?

Hi @TBI_Conqueror,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

If your HP Envy 6055e printer has gone offline and you haven't made any changes to your router or hardware, you can try the following steps to reconnect it to your network.

Check Printer Status:

  • First, make sure your printer is powered on and in a ready state. Ensure there are no error messages or paper jams on the printer's display.

Restart Your Printer:

  • Turn off your printer and unplug it from the power source for about 30 seconds. Then, plug it back in and turn it on. This can sometimes resolve connectivity issues.

Check Network Connection:

  • Verify that your printer is within the range of your Wi-Fi network and that the Wi-Fi indicator on the printer is solid or blinking (indicating it's searching for a network).

Wi-Fi Settings on the Printer:

  • On the printer's control panel, navigate to the Wi-Fi or Network settings. Follow the on-screen instructions to reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network. You may need to enter your Wi-Fi network's password.

Restart Your Router:

  • Unplug your router from the power source for about 30 seconds and then plug it back in. Wait for the router to fully restart.

Reconnect to Wi-Fi on Your Computer:

  • If you're trying to print from a computer, ensure that your computer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as the printer. If not, connect to the correct network.

Reinstall Printer Drivers (Optional):

  • Sometimes, reinstalling the printer drivers on your computer can help resolve connectivity issues. You can download the latest drivers from the HP website and install them on your computer.

Reset Network Settings on the Printer (Last Resort):

  • If none of the above steps work, you can perform a factory reset of the printer's network settings. This will erase all network settings, and you'll need to set up the Wi-Fi connection again from scratch.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
