Ever since the iOS v. 17 upgrade, I have had trouble printing remotely from my Iphone 13 to the printer. My wife's older iPhone 8 still prints remotely just fine. The printer has an error light saying that it cannot connect to the server. I do not know how to fix this.

Hi @MJP16,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like the issue might be related to compatibility or connectivity settings between your iPhone 13 and the HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus after the iOS update. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try.
- Restart All Devices: Sometimes, a simple restart can resolve connectivity issues. Restart your iPhone 13, the printer, and your Wi-Fi router.
- Check Printer Connection: Ensure that your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iPhone 13. You can check this by printing a network configuration page from the printer's control panel.
- Update Printer Firmware: Check if there's a firmware update available for your HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus printer. Updating the firmware can sometimes resolve compatibility issues with newer devices. You can usually find firmware updates on the HP support website.
- Forget and Reconnect Wi-Fi: On your iPhone 13, forget the Wi-Fi network and then reconnect to it. Sometimes, re-establishing the Wi-Fi connection can resolve connectivity issues.
- Reset Network Settings on iPhone: Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings on your iPhone 13. This will erase all saved Wi-Fi networks and VPN settings on your device. After resetting, reconnect to your Wi-Fi network and try printing again.
- Check Printer Settings: Ensure that the printer's network settings are correctly configured. You may need to reconfigure the wireless settings on your printer to match your Wi-Fi network settings.
- Printer Software Update: Check if there are any updates available for the HP printer software on your iPhone 13. Sometimes, updating the printer software can resolve compatibility issues with newer iOS versions.
By following these steps, you should be able to troubleshoot the issue and hopefully resolve the connection problem between your iPhone 13 and the HP Officejet Pro 8600 Plus printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
