Common problems for Connectivity Issues

Unable to connect printer to wireless network. Printer finds network, but then states "security: no encryption", and fails to connect. This although I do have encryption on my modem/router. Tried unplugging, etc and the solutions I found here. Nothing is working.

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

 

Let's restore the network settings on the Printer: Go to the Setup Menu>Network Setup>Restore Network Settings>Yes

 

Once done, connect the Printer to the Wi-Fi.

For some reason, I was not able to log in with my user name. I find it very disappointing that no direct online support is available. It really is unacceptable.

Your suggestion did not work.

Restore network settings are under "Settings", not ""Preferences".I have an Envy 5070., as indicated.

I have tried this numerous times, and the same messages show up: "Security: No encryption", and "Unable to connect to wireless", etc.

We'll have to perform a reset on the Printer for this. I have sent you a private message, for more details that cannot be shared in a public post.
