Common problems for Connectivity Issues

Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your printer being offline! 

We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.  

  

If your HP DeskJet 4122e All-in-One Printer is showing as offline and not printing, follow these troubleshooting steps:

 

Check Printer and Connection

Restart Printer – Turn it off, unplug it for 30 seconds, and turn it back on.
Check Connection – If using USB, reconnect the cable properly. If using Wi-Fi, ensure the printer is connected to the same network as your computer.
Check Paper & Ink – Ensure there’s enough paper and ink in the printer.

 

Set Printer to Online (Windows)

  1. Open Control PanelDevices and Printers.
  2. Right-click on HP DeskJet 4122eSee what's printing.
  3. Click Printer (top menu) → Use Printer Online (if available).

Restart Print Spooler

  1. Press Win + R, type services.msc, and press Enter.
  2. Scroll down to Print Spooler, right-click, and Restart it.

Update or Reinstall Printer Driver

  1. Go to HP official website and download the latest drivers for HP DeskJet 4122e.
  2. Install the driver and restart your PC.

Reset Printer Network (For Wi-Fi Issues)

  1. Press and hold the Wireless button and Cancel button for 5 seconds until the Wi-Fi light blinks.
  2. Reconnect the printer to Wi-Fi using the HP Smart app.
