I can never get this printer to print. Message always says 'unable to find printer" or "unable to connect to printer". This is true from day 1. I have another HP printer elsewhere that works like a dream but this one is a [content removed] - from day 1. And your HP website sucks because instead of downloading the printer driver it tries to recognize the printer and the website also cannot recognize it. At my wits end!

Step 1: Check the Basics
Ensure the Printer is On and Connected:
- Make sure the printer is powered on.
- Check if the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your Mac.
Check Printer Status:
- On the printer’s control panel, verify that there are no error messages or warnings.
Step 2: Reset the Printing System
Reset the Printing System:
- Go to System Preferences > Printers & Scanners.
- Right-click (or Control-click) in the list of printers on the left.
- Select Reset printing system.
- Confirm and wait for the system to reset.
Re-add the Printer:
- Click the + button to add a new printer.
- Select your HP Color LaserJet Pro MFP M182nw from the list.
- If it doesn't show up, click on IP at the top and manually add the printer using its IP address.
