i changed routers from T Mobile.
my printer is now on a different network for the printer alone.
i have two emails for the same printer. i don’t know if the old one is valid?
if not how do i delete it? i don’t see any place to change the email of your printer for e printing.
i have a claim code to manage the printer. i don’t know how to use it in the old account?
do i need to open another account? would that solve the whole issue.

it is a lot more complicated than just the two emails.
in HP smart i can see my printer. i can see the ink etc and scan from my ipad
however when i go to my account in HP smart it says i have no printers. if do i search no printer comes up even though i can see it and use the app. i do see the ip address but if i go to add printer and try and add it manually everything becomes unavailable. printer flashes like crazy and says to turn it off.
i don’t understand why it says zero printers when it show and functions with my correct printer.

I don't understand it either.
My not knowing your printer model likely means the answer is not even related to your situation.
If I think of anything useful, I'll update or post back.

OK.
Another try...
Keep in mind that I likely still don't understand all of what you are doing or seeing.
AND
If I am unable to explain or answer your concens, take heart --
and ask again.
I won't answer (though I might monitor progress).
Start...
There are three different models in this series - the lower end (Plain Pro) printer does not include all the features of the Plus and the Premium.
You might have to figure out which printer you have and perhaps apply some logic to separate out what you need compared to what is offered here.

ePrint is not the same animal as using HP Smart > Scan / Import / Print > Share (to Email).
Said another way:
ePrint and the HP Smart app are two entirely different methods of printing.
HP Smart / HP Connected – Sign in / Create Account
Claim codes to assign an email address to a printer are only valid for 24 hours after issue.
"Old claim codes" have no value.
How to use ePrint – HP Document
HP printers - Print with HP ePrint
---------------------------------------------------------------
"in HP smart i can see my printer.
i can see the ink etc and scan from my ipad"
HP Smart - the application - supports scan / import / open print file and then Share (to Email) using the sender's address.
In the case of HP Smart - Windows - the senders email address must be added to Microsoft / Windows Mail app.

Important - HP Smart app - Windows - for Share
If you have upgraded your Microsoft / Windows Mail to "New Outlook",
HP Smart > Scan / Print > Share does not work.
At this writing >> HP Smart - Windows - does not yet understand how to use "New Outlook".

HP Smart app - Mobile - is not tied to Windows in any way and does not suffer from confusion about which sender to use -- the email sender's address is the account tied to your Mobile device (iPad) login credentials.

OK
I might not understand this part of what you are asking.
When you open your account from within HP Smart app, and although the visual formatting is different, the result is essentially the same as if you sign into HP Smart / HP Connected.

The plain Pro, the Pro Plus and and the Pro Premium models in this series support ePrint - the older of the "Print to Printer email" technologies.
If you see "0 owned printers" that means that no printer has been successfully claimed and added to ePrint.
Reminder:
ePrint setup, that is, a printer added to HP Smart / HP Connected, is not related to whether you have one or more printers added to the HP Smart application.
--------------------------------------------------------
Let's make it even more confusing for a minute -
Do IGNORE this part if not relevant !!
Why bring it up at all?
I think you are perhaps cross referencing (mixing?) elements that you are reading and possibly seeing -- it is entirely possible that the idea of more than one email address might have come from reading about Scan to Email.
The Pro Plus and Pro Premium models support "Scan to Email" --
Scan to Email this is not ePrint.
Scan to Email is a method that (when and where supported) can be used to scan from the printer using a Scan to Email Profile (sender's setup). It is possible to have more than one Scan to Email (sender's) Profile.
IF you you have somehow tangled up in EWS - Digital Send > Scan to Email, that is a another different animal.
Partial sample - More than one Profile in Scan to Email that supports SMTP Digital Sending
