@unluakin, Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds frustrating to be stuck at this step. Let's try a few solutions to get your HP Ink Tank Wireless 415 printer back on track:
Resetting the Printer's Network Settings
Restore Network Settings:
- Turn on the printer.
- Press and hold the Wireless button and the Cancel button on the printer for 5 seconds until the wireless light starts blinking. This will restore the factory default network settings.
Reconnect to Wi-Fi:
- Open the HP Smart app on your device.
- Follow the prompts to add a new printer and connect it to your Wi-Fi network.
Accessing the Embedded Web Server (EWS)
Print a Network Configuration Page:
- Press the Information button on the printer (or hold it for 5 seconds).
- Look for the EWS Username and Password in the printed document. It might be listed as a PIN or default access credentials.
Access the EWS:
- Open a web browser and enter the printer’s IP address (found on the network configuration page).
- Navigate to the Settings or Security tab to reset the password from the EWS interface.
Factory Reset the Printer
Using HP Smart App:
- Download and install the HP Smart app from the Microsoft Store.
- Connect to the printer via USB cable or IP address.
- Click on the printer icon twice and select Advanced Settings.
- Scroll down to Restore Defaults and choose Restore Factory Defaults
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
