Hi @prannu,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're experiencing connectivity issues with your HP Deskjet Ink Advantage 3636 printer. Let's try a few troubleshooting steps to resolve the problem.

  • Restart Your Devices: Sometimes, a simple restart can fix connectivity issues. Turn off your printer, computer, and router. Wait for a few minutes, then turn them back on and see if the issue persists.
  • Check Wireless Connection: Ensure that your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your computer. You can do this by printing a Wireless Network Test Report from the printer's control panel. Follow the printer's manual for instructions on how to do this.
  • Update Printer Firmware: Make sure your printer has the latest firmware installed. You can usually update the firmware through the printer's settings menu or by visiting the HP website and downloading the latest firmware for your printer model.
  • Reset Network Settings: On your printer's control panel, navigate to the wireless settings and perform a network reset. This will clear any existing network settings and allow you to set up the connection again from scratch.
  • Reinstall Printer Software: Uninstall the printer software from your computer and reinstall it. Make sure you download the latest drivers and software from the HP website that are compatible with your operating system.
  • Check Firewall and Antivirus Settings: Sometimes, firewall or antivirus settings can block the printer from connecting to your network. Temporarily disable any firewall or antivirus software on your computer and see if that resolves the issue.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
