Common problems for Connectivity Issues

Printer Power and Setup:

  • Make sure the printer is turned on and ready. Check for any error messages or lights on the printer panel.

Set as Default Printer:

  • Go to 'Control Panel' > 'Devices and Printers'.
  • Right-click on your HP LaserJet printer and select 'Set as default printer'.

Clear Print Queue:

  • In 'Devices and Printers', right-click on the printer and select 'See what’s printing'.
  • Click on 'Printer' in the top menu and choose 'Cancel all documents’.

Restart Printer and Computer:

  • In the HP Smart app, click Printer Settings > Diagnose & Fix.
  • Let it run a scan—it will automatically fix common connection issues.
