HP DeskJet 4133e All-in-One Printer
Microsoft Windows 11

I am unable to print a document from the computer.  It seemed that the printer is not recognizing where to print from or it could be a soft ware problem.

Thanks for posting your question. I'm here to help you get things back on track.

We see that you are facing issues with your printer, Let's work together to get your HP DeskJet 4133e printing again. Here are some steps to help resolve the issue:

Check Printer Connection

For USB Connection:

  • Ensure the USB cable is securely connected to both the printer and the computer.
  • Try a different USB port or cable if available.

For Wireless Connection:

  • Make sure the printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your PC.
  • On the printer, press the Information button (i) to print a Network Configuration Page and verify the connection.

Restart Devices

  • Power off your printer and computer.
  • Unplug the printer’s power cord for 60 seconds.
  • Plug it back in and turn everything on again.

Reinstall the Printer Driver

  1. Open Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners.
  2. Select your printer > Remove.
  3. Go to the official driver page: Official HP® Support
  4. Download and install the HP Smart app or Full Feature Software.
  5. Follow the setup instructions to reconnect your printer.

Set as Default Printer

  1. Go to Settings > Printers & scanners.
  2. Click your printer > Set as default.

Try a Test Print

  • Open any document and try printing again.
