My officejet 4620 has suddenly stopped being able to connect to web services. The Web Services->Summary page shows a red "X" and "fix this" between the printer and ePrint icons. Also, the link given in the message "For advanced settings, visit the ePrintCenter Web site" ( http://h30495.www3.hp.com/?jumpID=in_EWS%2F&cc=US ) is broken. Firefox gives the message: "We can’t connect to the server at h30495.www3.hp.com".
I have the printer set up with a static IP/gateway/DNS, and I'm using 8.8.8.8 as the DNS server. Also, the Web Services -> Print Info Page button gives the message: "Cannot connect to the server."

UPDATE: well, I tried removing web services, thinking that I'd re-add them to see if that fixed it. At first, all attempts to re-enable web services failed. I then updated the firmware from the latest at support.hp.com. (Note that the Web Services -> Product Update page may indicate it's up-to-date, but this apparently doesn't reflect the firmware version.)
After again attempting to re-enable web services on the printer admin web page, it gave me the message: "The Web Services account must be activated at ePrintCenter. ePrintCenter will be opened in a new browser window. If it does not appear in a few seconds, click ePrintCenter to open the website." Going to the link provided fails, because the server h30495.www3.hp.com (still) doesn't exist. Apparently, ePrintCenter is no longer supported. https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04700720
However, clicking "I have enabled my printer at ePrintCenter" anyway allowed me to get back in and print the web services info page with the email address & claim code on it. I was then able to register at hpsmart.com - which I guess is the replacement for ePrintCenter. email printing now works.

It was part of the process of updating the firmware & re-enabling web services. I also installed "HP Smart", which is the latest iteration of the HP software for connecting and configuring printers. It was either in HP Smart or in the printer web interface itself, after clicking on the option to enable web services. Sorry that I don't remember more specifically.
Basically, I went through most of the steps that you'd go through with a new printer. Update firmware, Install HP Smart, use it to connect to the printer, enable web services. At that point, the last step appears to fail, but you click the "I have enabled my printer at ePrintCenter" button anyway, and email printing works. The key is that you need to update to the latest firmware.

Before reinstalling the firmware I disabled Web Services. I then couldn't set up Web Services. After downloading and reinstalling the firmware, I still have the same issue. Using a direct connection to the printer's internal website, I cannot locate anything that says I have already set up Web Services through ePrintCenter. I'll look through HP Smart.
Thanks!
