Hi,

A USB cable is not included with the printer, and is not required to connect the printer to wifi from any wireless-connected device, either a computer or a mobile device.

 

From any supported iOS or Android mobile device, make sure it is connected to your home network.

 

Also make sure the printer is in Setup mode and that you see a nearby HP-Setup-2700 wireless SSID in the nearby network list.

 

If no such is shown, restart your printer and then press and hold the Wireless and Cancel buttons both together for 3 seconds, release it as the power light starts blinking and then ensure the HP-Setup SSID is shown.

 

Next, follow HP Smart to connect the printer:

After connecting the printer to the network, from your computer visit 123.hp.com and follow the steps on screen to setup the printer on your computer.
