I recently bought an Acer Aspire, it replaced an older HP laptop. I am not able to connect it to my HP wireless Printer.
It is a 9015 series Printer. I have installed HP Smart, but it still does not work. Can you help me?

Hi @sl52-_,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
Sure, let's troubleshoot this together. Here are some steps you can try.
- Check Compatibility: Ensure that your Acer Aspire laptop and HP printer are compatible with each other. Most printers are compatible with various operating systems, but it's always good to double-check.
- Update Drivers: Make sure that the drivers for your HP printer are up to date on your Acer Aspire laptop. You can usually find the latest drivers on the HP website.
- Restart Devices: Sometimes, simply restarting both your laptop and printer can resolve connectivity issues. Turn off both devices, wait for a minute, and then turn them back on.
- Wi-Fi Connection: Ensure that both your laptop and printer are connected to the same Wi-Fi network. If not, connect them to the same network and try printing again.
- HP Smart App: Since you've already installed the HP Smart app, open it and see if your printer is detected. If not, try reinstalling the app or updating it to the latest version.
- Printer Settings: Check the settings on your HP printer to ensure that wireless printing is enabled. You may need to consult the printer's manual for instructions on how to do this.
- Firewall/Antivirus Settings: Sometimes, firewall or antivirus settings on your laptop can interfere with the connection to your printer. Temporarily disable them and try printing again to see if it resolves the issue.
- Reset Printer Network Settings: If all else fails, you can try resetting the network settings on your HP printer and then reconnecting it to your Wi-Fi network.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
