Hi @Forkyou,

Welcome to The HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

I understand the Wi-Fi blue light on your HP OfficeJet Pro 9018 isn't coming on, it suggests that the printer might not be connecting to your network or there could be an issue with the printer’s Wi-Fi functionality.

Here are some troubleshooting steps you can follow to address the issue:

Check Printer Status:

  • Ensure the printer is turned on and powered properly.
  • Make sure the printer is not in an error state or displaying any warning messages.

Restart Your Printer:

  • Turn off the printer using the power button.
  • Unplug the power cord from the printer and wait for about 60 seconds.
  • Plug the power cord back in and turn the printer on.

Verify Network Settings:

  • On the printer’s control panel, navigate to the network settings.
  • Look for an option to set up or connect to Wi-Fi. Make sure it’s enabled.

Check Wi-Fi Connection:

  • Ensure that your Wi-Fi network is functioning properly.
  • Verify that other devices can connect to the same Wi-Fi network.

Reconnect to Wi-Fi:

  • Go to the printer’s control panel, and access the wireless setup settings.
  • Select your Wi-Fi network and enter the password if prompted.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the setup.

Update Printer Firmware: Update the firmware on an HP printer

  • Sometimes updating the firmware can resolve connectivity issues. Check the HP website for any available updates for your printer model.

Reset Network Settings:

  • If you’re still having issues, you can reset the network settings on the printer to start the setup process from scratch. Look for a "Network Reset" option in the printer’s settings menu.

Check for Interference:

  • Ensure there are no physical obstructions or electronic devices causing interference between the printer and your router.

Check the Router:

  • Restart your router to rule out any issues with your network equipment.

Consult the Manual:

  • Refer to the printer’s user manual or HP’s online support for model-specific troubleshooting steps.
