Hi @bushbuilder,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.

If your HP printer won’t print or connect to Wi-Fi, here’s a step-by-step guide to help you troubleshoot both issues:

Step 1: Power Reset the Printer and Router

  1. Turn off the printer, then unplug it from power.
  2. Turn off your Wi-Fi router, wait 30 seconds, and turn it back on.
  3. Wait for the router to restart (all lights stable) fully.
  4. Plug the printer back in and turn it on.

2. Reconnect to Wi-Fi

  • Press the Wi-Fi button again to enter setup mode.
  • Use the HP Smart app (on your phone or PC) to find and connect the printer to your Wi-Fi.
  • Make sure your Wi-Fi is 2.4 GHz, as many HP printers don’t support 5 GHz networks

3. Use the HP Smart App

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
