Hi @bushbuilder,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query. I will be glad to help you.
If your HP printer won’t print or connect to Wi-Fi, here’s a step-by-step guide to help you troubleshoot both issues:
Step 1: Power Reset the Printer and Router
- Turn off the printer, then unplug it from power.
- Turn off your Wi-Fi router, wait 30 seconds, and turn it back on.
- Wait for the router to restart (all lights stable) fully.
- Plug the printer back in and turn it on.
2. Reconnect to Wi-Fi
- Press the Wi-Fi button again to enter setup mode.
- Use the HP Smart app (on your phone or PC) to find and connect the printer to your Wi-Fi.
- Make sure your Wi-Fi is 2.4 GHz, as many HP printers don’t support 5 GHz networks
3. Use the HP Smart App
- Download from HP printer setup (HP Smart app) | HP® Support
- Follow the on-screen steps to detect and connect your printer.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
