Hi @dmontagnese ,
Welcome to The HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
I understand you are trying to reset the wireless connection on your HP Smart Tank 5000 All-in-One Printer, follow these steps:
1. Factory Reset the Printer's Network Settings
- Turn on the printer.
- On the printer's control panel, press the Wi-Fi button and hold it for 10-15 seconds.
- The printer will reset the network settings and disconnect from the current Wi-Fi network.
2. Reconnect to a New Wi-Fi Network
- After resetting, the printer will be in Wi-Fi setup mode.
- Open the HP Smart app on your Windows 11 computer.
- Click on the plus (+) sign to add a new printer.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to reconnect the printer to your Wi-Fi network.
Alternatively, you can also use the HP Smart Tank 5000 control panel:
- On the Control Panel, go to Setup > Network Setup > Wireless Setup Wizard.
- Follow the prompts to select your network and enter the password.
Once the printer is successfully connected to the Wi-Fi network, it should work with your computer and the HP Smart app. Let me know if you run into any issues!
