Where can I locate the configuration sheet for my printer?

I'm not getting a pop up box to enter my printer code, nor is there a "+printer" link below the printers/apps, etc.

From the instructions: (this is where I'm stuck)

2. Click the blue "Sign In" button.  Then on the sign-in dialog that appears, if you don't already have an ePrintCenter account, click the blue "Sign Up" option at the top of the dialog and follow the steps in the account creation dialog to enter your personal email address, choose a password, etc.

3. At the end of the HP ePrintCenter account creation process a dialog will appear automatically asking you to enter your printer code to add it to your HP ePrintCenter account.  If you don't see that dialog, after creating your account, click the "+ Add Printer" link below the "Printers | Apps | Create | News | Help" options on HP ePrintCenter.

Ok I give up! I have gone to several locations & have not found out HOW TO get my printer code! the instructions are not that easy to follow. I have an HP Deskjet 3054A & I'm about ready to take it back to the store! Can someone PLEASE help me with this?

I found IP address for my Laserjet M1217, but can't find "Web Service" tab after I entered the the IP.

I solved my problem by following the steps in this youtube clip:

I realized I needed to update firmware for my printer before I did the rest.  Hope this link helps people who have the same problem.

I canot even find the printer e-mail!!!

when i click on the ePrint icon it tries to connect but there is no email or print option

I changed the modem-router an the problems solved.

In my case the problem was the router (or its firewall, settings, etc)

I have no idea of why I need to be here or what I'm supposed to do or why my printer needs any of this.    What a waste of time!!!!!
