I purchased an Eligible Print and purchased an enrollment card. When it was time to setup for the service, it says "This Printer is NOT eligible for HP Instant Ink. Which is odd since its listed as one on the HP Instant Ink web page. I would really appreciate if someone would share a solution to this problem. Thank you in advance.

Hello @JSomo,

Welcome to the HP Support Forums!

I see that you purchased the HP OfficeJet Pro 8710 Printer and you're trying to enroll into Instant Ink and it is telling you that the printer is not eligible for Instant Ink. I would be happy to help you and please remember to return to this thread and mark 'Accept as Solution' if I have successfully helped you resolve the issue. If you wish to say 'thanks' for my effort to help, click the 'thumbs up' to give me a Kudos.

Have you customized the printer's ePrint email address yet? If not, remove and re-enable web services to reprint/re-add the printer. Refresh the page and that should resolve the issue.

If you have customized the printer's email address, please send me a private message and will assist you further.

I look forward to hearing back from you. 🙂

I don't have a solution, but I also have the Officejet Pro 8710 and HP Instant Ink works fine with my printer.  I've already received 2 replacement shipments.

I had the same problem. You have to go into the printer configuration and enable instant ink option. Basically get the IP address of your printer, then go to a web browser on your network enter an IP address with a forward slash enter. Go to security-> administrator -> web service settings -> and check the HP instant ink box. Apply settings. You are now good to go and your printer is eligible.
