Hi MKinzl

I understand you need the reset for the printer also since the password was reset.

I will send you a private message with this information.
In the forum beside your handle name just click on the envelope to view it.

If you need more assistance just let me know.

I need the instructions to reset my HP CP1525nw color printer.

I can't access the menu, it's disabled.

No idea why this isn't shared with everyone.

Hello sharethesolutio,

I understand you need to reset your HP LaserJet CP1525nw because you are unable to access the menu. The reason the resets are not shared on the Forums is because some resets require you to enter button combinations to open special menus on your printer that you were never meant to access. These special menus are used by the developers and support personnel for debugging issues, but they are not meant for untrained users and can have unintended results. One wrong button push and you no could no longer have a printer, but instead a pricey paper weight. To top it off, if you do happen to "brick" the printer this way, it is considered customer induced damage, and voids the warranty automatically. These resets are only meant to be given out and used as a last resort, and under direct instruction of a HP tech support representative. They should not be done lightly!

Please check your inbox on the Forums, I have sent you a private message.

I got this great information from community member Bob_Headrick.

Thank you,

Thank you,

The instructions you sent me DO NOT WORK.

The whole purpose of this forum thread is to tell people how to reset the printer when they can't go into the "services" menu because of the "Menu access is disabled" message they get.

Can I get some instructions on how to reset the printer besides what's already available and doesn't work?

Thanks
