I don't see page 2 yet... but we are not done.

 

Now set the static IP address in the printer to 192.168.1.10.  Verify it connect to the router.

 

Totally uninstall all HP software with...

 

Use http://www.iobit.com/en/advanceduninstaller.php .  Use Powerful Scan at the end and delete all registry entries shown.

 

NOw download and install the Vista drivers here.

If you see this before your next post, time to reset the printer now.

 

Reset the printer back to Factory Defaults. 

 

Reset the printer back to Network Defaults.   Use the front panel.

 

Go back and set static IP address on printer.

 

Now check....

The installation failed. Do I need to have the printer connected by USB to the computer? They cable did t came with the printer. The printer last less than 1 min connected to the internet 😫😩

 

what the computer has to do with the airprint/wireless printer? We never use the computer.. I'm trying again.

doenst connect or the wireless network because the router info has been deleted.. should I connect first and then put attic IP address?

Yes, use the front panel Wireless Set Wizard.  Let it connect.  Check status, change back to static IP.

done! i added only the static IP adress.. I didnt change the DSN or protocol  toI PV4 only
