Desk Jet F380
Microsoft Windows 8 (32-bit)

Printer gets intermittent use. Recently printing quality is very poor. After going through trouble shooting and cleaning as directed in the help menu, only the black ink appeared on the cleaning pages. Cartridges removed and contacts cleaned as instructed. Still no color printing. New color cartridge installed, now printing blues and reds, poor yellow. Color quality is faded and very blue. Please advise for further trouble shooting!

It sounds like more cleaning may help resolve the issue. If the cleaning does not do the trick your cartridge might be dirty, have a clogged printhead or might be defective.

If you have a defective ink cartridge, it might be under warranty. To check the warranty on your ink supplies, go to hp.com/go/learnaboutsupplies, select your country/region, and then review the limited warranty information for your supplies. Contact HP for a replacement.
