I cannot open Solution Centre.    I get the message that it will not work without Adobe Flash Player for Internet Explorer and when I try to download Adobe I just get a complete page of gobbledegook!!!!   I normally use Chrome as my browser, but it doesn't come up at all.   What can I do to get Solution Center to work?  Can anybody out there help me?

Try scrubbing all of the HP drivers from you computer, and then perform a clean install.

If software was downloaded and extracted to your system:

1. Type %temp% in the run field

2. Look for, and open the folder starting with 7z (Example: 7zS2356)

3. Open folder Util

4. Open folder CCC

5. Run the L4uninstall.bat

6. When the uninstall has completed restart the computer

7. Run Disk cleanup from Accessories\ System Tools

8. Download and install the latest version of Adobe flash player

http://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/

9. Type %temp% in the run field

10. Delete all files in the %temp% folder. Some files may say they can't be deleted just skip them.

11. Download the full feature software and drivers

12. Run the download to reinstall the printer

When I had my computer "repaired", the person removed my HP Solution Center software from my computer.  I want to reinstall it for Windows XP, SP3.  Thank you.

Hi 7again,

Which printer model do you have?

You can search for it here: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/support-drivers.html

Click the white Kudos star or Accept as Solution button if I helped you.

Thank you, Herculean.

I have an Officejet Pro 8500 Wireless All-In-One, A909.  If anything malfunctions with the printer, the HP Solution Center would automatically open on top of any web page and diagnose the problem, which has worked very well for me the few years I have had the printer.

I recently had my computer "repaired" by a technician; now the icon for HP Solution Center is no longer on my desktop and I have not been able to find it in my files.

Hi 7again,

Is your model the A909a, A909b, A909n, or A909g?

You can doublecheck this using this link: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/buu04090

Once you know the exact model number, type it in at this link to get the software for the operating system on your computer: http://www8.hp.com/us/en/support-drivers.html

Let me know what happens.

Thanks
