hp color lj -1515 even after calibrating colors from control panel i am not able to get the desired result still there is lot of mis alignment in colors. pls suggest

The problem what is described below is also my problem.

 

Would  the problems occur be related with a problem toner ? or something with mechanical alignments inside the printer?

 

Can you please give me an incite to what could cause this problem and if you have a solution!!

After a lot of trial and error I found a solution.

I updated the firmware with the latest version taken from the HP website. I think I also reinstalled the driver (don't remember exactly as I tried so many different things one after te other).

I then recalibrated the printer from the control panel on the printer and it worked. It has been working OK now for a few weeks.

I see you are experiencing print quality issues with your CP1515n Color Laserjet.  I would advise taking a look at the troubleshooting steps for PQ issues and this printer in the document linked below.

I have tried all the above and still facing the same issues. Magenta is shadowed, already installed a new toner and nothing. No solution found anywhere.

Have you tried changing the Yellow cartridge - worked for me - I think the 'old' yellow, when it ran low, screwed up the Magenta somehow?
