I am having the same issue with a newly installed 8620 connected wirelessly to a mac running 10.10.1.

I've followed the steps above -- with a variety of variations to boot -- still get the error.

Thanks,

JB

I am also frustrated after following these steps carefully for about 5 times already. I have also tried other directions in other forums as well but keep getting the same message that my credentials (username/password) are invalid. I would really appreciate any help as soon as possible. Thanks in advance!

I just bought the 8620 and am having the same issue.  This issue seems to have been running for quite a while now with no resolution.  Is anyone at HP actually looking to fix this?
