HP has not provided a solution for months and is asking me if I am happy with the solution - since there has not been a solution forthcoming, I am not happy.  This is probably all done by computer, so HP doesn't even bother to have humans read their posts.  Very disturbing to its customers, no customer support.

With todays technology, HP should be capable resolving any type of software issues in their products. This bright white haze in the display window, even though minor, it is a major nuisance.

Yes, they resolved it by giving me a new printer.  They had no way to fix it.

i am also having the same problem- how did you get them to give you new printer? or is there some other solution.  really cant read screen at alkl

The issue of the "window too bright"  was never resolved.  HP does NOT know how to fix it.  They also gave me another printer.  Their "resolution" is to give you another printer, rather than address the issue.
