I followed the steps above and now the printer is producing a DIFFERENT Server Connection Error. The code is now 411 instead of the inital Server Conncection Error: 901 code .

I have a 5520 HP photossmart printer. It was scanning fine and sending it to my email address. Now I get en arror message of 901 and it can no longer scan.  I am working on a mac.

I was unable to scan with my Photosmart 5520 as the only thing that appears on the screen when i click on your HP icon is "Printer Setup & Software." Nothing else works. Please help. Marv Beloff

I am having the same issue when I try to Scan to Email I receive the error message: "Server Connection Error: -1, There was a probem connecting to the server." It is basically impossible for me to Scan anything with the Photosmart 5520 printer since my only device is a Chromebook. I was using a Sim Card for Scans, but it broke today hence why I am now really trying to get the "Scan to Email" working as soon as possible. Thank you in advance for any help HP Support Team, or other Forum users!!

I also have a HP Photosmart 5520 printer. I set it up to my wireless; the diagnostics results said --wireless on PASS, --wireless working PASS, --signal quality Excellent. Under Connectivity it says: --connected PASS, under Network it says: --network name (SSID) found PASS; under Settings it says: printer settings consistent with wireless settings PASS

NOW, under Current Configuration: a) network name (SSID) it's correct. b) hardware address (MAC) a bunch of numbers
c) IP address-a bunch of numbers. d) configuration source DHCP. Internet Connected

But I can't print anything from my iPad!!! Can you help?

Hi there

 

i have tried to scan documents to my email address  but not able to as the server connection error keeps appearing. I am connected to the Internet.  It has worked fine in the past.  Not sure what I am doing wrong,  any assistance will be much appreciated.
