I still haven't received a reply.  I understand that there is a fix that is only being provided via email. I need this information ASAP so I can scan a document.

New 7520 printer installed web services and then waited - printer number expired and cannot get a new one as printer cannot connect to web and keeps prompting for a server for every web icon. Everyting else seems ok. I am using a fixed ip.

Took printer back to Costco - got a full refund and bought another at £50 less. Problem solved.

HP seems to not be manning the page just now.  I count at least three outstanding requests for help.  I know the solution (which is a rather extreme step) but have been asked not to post it on the forum.  HP said nothing about me not talking to anyone outside of the forum however.  If you were to put my user name together with my mail provider (supplied in a previous post) you could find out the answer.
