I wish to try the uninstall/reinstall driver dance in attempt to fix my printing issues. The printer, an Envy 4520, is installed with the HP app. How do I uninstall the drivers and then reinstall a fresh copy. There is no driver file listed in Apps & Programs, only HP app.
Thanks,
Scott

Welcome to HP support community.
Perform root level uninstallation to remove all the printer related software's.
- In Windows, search for and open Programs and Features.
- Select your HP printer.
- Select Uninstall.
- In Windows, search for and open Devices and Printers.
- In the Devices and Printers window look for your HP Printer. If you see it listed, right-click on it and choose "Delete" or "Remove Device.”
- Open up the run command with the "Windows Key + R" key combo.
- Type printui.exe /s and click OK.
- Click on Drivers tab.
- Look for HP Printer driver. If you see it click on it and click Remove at the bottom.
- Select OK.
- Remove all instances of the same.
- Select Apply and OK on the Print Server Properties windows.
- Close Devices and Printers.
- Restart the PC again.
Download and run the printer full feature driver.
Click here to download the driver.
I hope that helps.

Properly remove old driver and install new one. For that, check the comment of below post:

I am attempting to install a new printer. Laserjet MFP M140W. When I try to install the drivers I receive an error message, saying the driver cannot be installed.
If anyone knows where I can get a driver that will work, I receive an error message when using any of the HP ones.

Check and follow the by Sandytechy20 in below link and perform root level uninstallation, after that download and run HP smart app for setup and drivers:
If issue remains, check this as well:
