HP deskjet 3050 shows document in printer queue, but won't print

As you can see in the subject, I own an HP Deskjet 3050. I am trying to print a doucment wirelessly, but when I press print, and confirm my settings, the document will show up in the printer queue, and say it's printing, but won't actually print. I have reinstalled the driver software, confirmed the wireless printing settings, and tried multiple other printer fixes. It still won't work. Any help is greatly appreciated!!!

I have the same problem. However, mine connects to the printer and is able to print a diagnostics page from my laptop. When it comes to any other document, however, it shows up on the printing queue but disappears without printing anything.

Hi Gabrielle016,
I see that you're having problems with the printer printing documents. I have a couple of questions for you.
What operating system do you have?
Do you have the same printer listed above?

I have what sounds like exactly the same problem but am using the windows 8 operating system.
Have tried the HP print and scan doctor, it only clears the print queue and prints a test page but any documents susequently sent to the print queue still do not print.
The printer is apparently online and has been installed correctly. It worked fine for a time but has just dropped out.
help please

Hi wally2,
I understand you're having an issue getting anything to go through the print queue and actually print with your Deskjet 3050 and have already tried the HP Print and Scan Doctor.
My first suggestion would have been the HP Print and Scan Doctor, so because that didn't work, I would recommend uninstalling your software (click here to see how to uninstall your software in Windows 8, just be careful to only remove HP items that have Deskjet 3050 in the title, there should only be 3 items). Once you've removed the software make sure to restart the PC.
Once the software is removed successfully you'll want to download and run the HP Printer Install Wizard, which you can get by clicking here, to reinstall the most up to date software. With this tool you can plug the USB cable in right away so it can detect the printer, or if you are using a wireless connection the Wizard should detect it without any extra steps.

my hp deskjet 3050 J610 series printer report shows everything is working but my docs won't print. The printer queue shows doc in print mode but won't print. I have reinstalled the software and troubleshoot everything I could find. Please help.
