As of today I cannot access my printers web page, I have always been able to do this previously and it is my only way of scanning as my printer is not wired.  I have printed a printer status report and checked that the URL matches.  I have a HP Photosmart B110a.

Is the printer still connected to your network? Print out a wireless test page or network configuration page. The network status will be listed on the page

No problems found on the Wireless network test report, passed all the checks and has very good signal quality

Check to make sure your computer and printer are on the same network still.

To find the IP Address of a windows pc

Go to the start button

In the search programs and folders type CMD and hit enter

In the black box that opens type ipconfig then hit enter

Look for the line that says IPv4 Address

It will be a group of four numbers such as 192.168.1.1

The first three groups of numbers (from above 192.168.1.   )must be the same as the printers.

If they are not the same, they are not on the same network

Hi,

A couple additional questions - you mention that you use the embedded web server to scan as your product is not connected by cable. If the product drivers are installed on your computer you should be able to scan wirelessly as well. Have you installed print drivers on the computer? If so just open the printer icon on the desktop and scan.

The loss of access to the embedded web server could be caused my an update to your internet browser. Have you tried to access the printer with another browser? firefox, chrome etc? You may need to adjust your internet security settings. They should be at default levels. When you reach a browser page after entering the printers IP address is there on option to continue even though it is not reccomended?

I have checked that the numbers are the same as I have noticed previously that the last number sometimes changes and if it doen't match what it says on the printer status report then it fails to print, not sure why this changes, doesn't appear to be update related for the printer/browser.

I have tried using Chrome and Internet explorer and it fails to load on both of them, either internet explorer cannot display the webpage or Google chrome could not connect to.
