HP Photosmart C7280 All-In-One
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I own the HP Photosmart C7280 All-In-One Printer/Fax/Scanner/Copier.  The Printer said I needed new Ink Cartridges, so I purchased them for appx $85.00.  After replacing ALL the cartridges, then I received an "Ink System Failure" error number 0xc18a0206.  Being Technical, I tried everything I knew, however, when I didn't have any luck...I called HP. They proceeded to tell me that it is a hardware issue.

Therefore, after spending the $85 dollars for the Ink Cartridges, I could have had a new printer.

HP Customer Service, then HP Technical Support was no help at all, except trying to convince me to purchase a new printer.

I have had great luck with Epson, and I hope that this post helps those with the same issue.

What a great money-making trick HP has...they give you an error message that costs a lot of money, only to find out that it had nothing to do with the Ink and the Error Messages. The Consumer loses the money for the Ink Cartridges, then they still have to purchase a new printer.  It's sad what companies do to make money these days!
