Printer:  Laserjet M1132 mfp

Tablet  Microsoft Surface Pro2

Winfows 10

The problem

I said the problem was the left margin but as I have discovered is misleading.  I am trying to print A-4 paper in landscape.  If I put letter size paper in the printer the margins come out correct.  but with A-4 paper there is a too wide margin on the left - the trailing edge of the printed sheet.   Which seems to me to mean that there is a conversion error  The printer or the the computer is unable to read or change the paper sizr to print A-4.

I have tired to change back and forth betweenpaper sizes

I have lookes up the printer papers infoo and all reads A-4

The print preview looks correct but the left side madgin is always far too big

Help me

THANKS

Hi @OHIPCK,

Thanks for providing me more information.

Generally, this type of problem is controlled by the software and print driver.

Which application are you printing from?

Have you tried other applications?

Have you tried adjusting the print margins?

I recommend that you try creating a custom paper size.

To confirm that the printer is using the correct print driver. Download and run the Print and Scan Doctor.
What were the results when you ran the Print and Scan Doctor (did it print or scan, any error messages)?

Please respond to this post with the results. Thank you for posting!

The printer driver is correct.  I checked with the print and scan doctor.

I do not know what you mean by application  I am useing ofice 2013 i think.

I have tired adjusting the margins many times over and over again

I have tired to use several custom paper sizes

nothing helps.  except when I print with a 8 and a half by 11 size.  The the margins come out as I wanted .5 inches on all sides.

HI @OHIPCK,

Thanks for getting back to me.

Try printing the document from a different application.

If you're using MS Office, you could use these steps as a workaround.

If the issue persists, please try printing the document in Apache OpenOffice.

Please respond to this post with the results. Good Luck!
