I see that you're having problems with the scan app.  Where you able to try the steps above?

i have tried given options of static IP and manual DNS settings, sometime it works but takes so long and sometime it fails also once it sends it only emails with no attachment.

Check your forum inbox.  The steps will fix the issue with the app not working.  The attachment issue has just been brought to my attention yesterday.  I am still looking into what’s going on.

I have tried all your above options and my scan to email is still not working. Neither are my apps. It says that the apps are updating but have been doing so for over an  hour. I am connected an can print and view my printer on the HP ePrint center as connected. 

 

Can you email the solution please.

I used the solution you sent and it seemed to work. I was allowed to connect to the web server so I didnt recieve the same error message but when I scanned to email it sent the email with no attachment. Tried it twice with the same result. Tried it through the scan function on the printer as well as the scan to email app with the same result.......email but no attachment.

 

What now?

Also.....it seems to take an extremely long time to load when I scan to email....5-10 minutes sometimes.

Glad it's working for you.  I am still looking into the issue about the attachments it looks like the issue just arose yesterday.  I will message back when I find a solution.

Not sure if we can say its "working" just yet since I am not actually receiving the scanned attachment in the email.

 

All that being said, still appreciate the help. Let me know what you find out.

Actually the issue with the attachement has been posted since Sunday not yesterday!
