Been using same printer for years with no problems. Now the margins are off (printing on regular 8.5 x 11 letter); Must print at 89% to get full page on paper; otherwise is cuts off right margin. Have NOT removed device and reinstalled, but have looked to update the drivers/software and firmware. Have checked default settings and all looks good. Any suggestions?

Hi @mkz1,
Thanks for becoming a member of the HP Support Forums. I understand you are having an issue with the margins on the laserjet pro p1102w. I will be glad to help you.
What size is the paper you are printing on?
What program are you printing from?
Does it happen what all programs?
what are the print screen settings? eg paper size, paper type
Is it set for scale to fix?
Please get back to me and I will do all I can to help.

Hi @mkz1,
Thank you for getting back to me.
Try and print a hardware self test on the printer to find out if it is a hardware or software issue. Select Method two.
HP LaserJet Pro P1102 and P1106/P1108 Printer Series - Printing a Configuration Page.
Make sure the proper settings are set in the printer properties and the application you are printing from.
On the File menu in the software program, click Print.
Select the product, and then click the Properties or Preferences button.
Click the Paper/Quality tab.
Check the Paper Size, Paper Source, Paper Type, to make sure they are correct.
Try printing again.
uninstall the software
download the latest driver HP LaserJet Full Feature Software and Driver
install from the download.
Please keep me informed of how things went.
If you require further assistance, let me know and I will gladly do all I can to help you.
