Ok  I have tried everything.... and spent the last 30 mins reading everyones complaints on the same issue.  I have no idea how to find nor download the new printer app you were taling about.  Can you please send the instructions to me also.

Reading all the posts from people with the same problem asking for the secret resolution,  it seems frankly ridiculous that HP will not just make it available to anyone.

Anyway,  that said,  I've got the same issue with my 5520,  so can I please have the resolution too!

I contacted Support & got detailed instructions which worked fine. My problem is solved!

Hi Kyle_W, please could you send me the rest instructions? I am also having issues trying to scan to email and have tried everything in this forum with no success, many thanks in advance

Hey All,

 

I understand you are getting a 403 error while trying to scan to email.

This error is a communication error with the server.

If the software is installed, continue to the next solution.
Restart the computer, printer, and network router
Can you scan to computer?
If no, try downloading and running the Hp Print and Scan Doctor.

If yes continue to check on Scan to Email follow this document.

I have the same 403 error when trying to scan to email.  I have an HP Photosmart 6520.  Could you send me the instructions on how to fix?
