Using Mac OS 10.9.5

 

Linksys CA1600 with WPS

 

Photosmart C4750

 

I ran a test on the printer and the wireless PASSED

 

I have tried using one button WPS and PIN entry  still not working.  Even moved the printer closer to the Wifi

 

Printer works when connecting by USB to the MacBook Pro

 

Any suggestions?

I noticed that you are unable to connect your HP Photosmart c4750 to your Wifi with a Mac 10.9.5 computer. I am happy to help with this connection issue!

 

Please see this post, Re: Photosmart C4780 cannot connect to wireless network, by my colleague, @happytohelp01.

 

Even though the post states it is for a HP Photosmart c4780, I believe the same steps will work with your HP Photosmart C4750.

Thankd for your response.  It seems as if I have tried everything, includeing deleting all HP software and starting over.  Nothing seems to work.  

 

The video link you sent me refers to certain pop up menus that should be occurring during set up that never pop up????

 

I cannot manually download the divers and software for this OsX and the disc that came with the printer is not compatible.  When I connect the printer with the USB, all HP drivers are up to date and function, however, I do not have the rest of the HP suite which inclueds the installation componant.  

 

I was able to download through the APP store a HP Easy Wireless Setup app and when I try to use that, it asks for a HP Setup Wifi that does not exist.  I can't get beyond this point.  Below is what I am referring to.  I'm at a loss...
