The easiest way I have found to use my scanner on my 210A is to just use the web interface by going to the IP address for the printer and scanning works beautifully from there. Also works for the Mac platform

I installed Windows 10 and everything seems to work except my HP LaserJet 200 color MFP M275nw printer won't scan from my computer but I can print. I am operating wireless with my HP Pavilion g6 Laptop. I can copy and scan to Folder from the printer control panel. I downloaded and installed the Windows 10 driver from HP for the printer but still no scan from computer and at this point I can't think of anything else to try, Help!!

Am trying to initiate your suggestion but upon execution of the command I get a response that reads "You must be an administrator running a console session in order to use the sfc utility". Well I am logged in as administrator but
running a console session??? I have no idea what they mean or how to proceed. Any help??

Solved? Had the same problem. I could not use the HP Scan software on the Win 10 computer, and I could not scan to computer from the printer itself. The weird thing was that I couldn't scan to any of the 3 computers it connects to, even though two are Win 7.
When checking my web access through the printer's front panel, there was an error. It was as follows:
This printer is configured with an automatically assigned IP address (called an "Auto IP" address). On most networks, having this type of IP address can prevent the printer from communicating over the network or accessing the Internet.
The diagnostic report showed that it had an outside IP address assigned (169.254.34.28) and not one of my internal home network address (192.168.0.xxx). The configuration source was listed as "AutoIP".
So it looks like one of the Win 10 upgrades changed the printer settings, putting it on some outside network. I rebooted my router, then turned the printer off and on again. This let it switch back to DHCP and it got a new IP address on my network. Now things are back to normal.

Not that I have found yet but am still trying. Because of this problem I am trying to figure out how to go back to Windows 7 also for which there doesn't seem to be viable instructions either. It is funny that Microsoft didn't happen to mention that you had to go back to your previous version within 30 days in their initial download and install directions. Like you are supposed to completely analyze Windows 10 in your spare time within 30 days, duh!!!

Finally, after 2-3 months of struggling, I got a tip from a friend to install the app "HP AiO Remote" which scans via "HP Scan & capture" app. Now I use that app and everything works fine.
Why wasn´t I informed about this by HP, I wonder.
