Hi @faridah803 ,

I understand that you are having issues with the printer going in a cool-down mode also. I will do my best to help you.

Cool-down mode:

The product is too hot to continue printing at normal speed.

The product will pause longer between printed pages until it cools down.
Overheating occurs when the product lacks air ventilation or when it prints continuously for a long period of time. To prevent overheating, place the product in a well-ventilated area, and divide very large print jobs into smaller print jobs.

Make sure the printer is connected directly to a wall outlet and the correct paper type is selected in the print driver and not defaulted to unspecified.

I will send you another step to try in a private message.

i am having this issue as well with a customer's printer. I work for a hp reseller and we just installed this device for this office last night. was running fine, eprint was working fine...no issues at all. they came in this morning and they are printing 2 page docs and after the first page, they get the "cool down mode" warning and it take another 10mins before the printer will print again. any help would be great.

i have it installed on a counter top by itself, no equipment around it. it is on the wireless network so only thing even around it is the power cord. they are ecstatic with the printer as to the options they have with it and the output quality. just not able to figure out this "cool down mode" thing.
